ABOUT ME

My name is Julia Duke-Vinton and I am a Media and Communications Student specialising in PR at Birmingham City University.

I have been passionate about media since studying the subject at GCSE. Since then, my degree, various work experience placements and job roles have allowed me to express my creativity through music video projects, web design, PR campaigns, social media promotion, photography and videography. I have created promotional content for a range of different businesses - from hair extension suppliers to estate agencies. 

During a year as a Digital Marketing apprentice, I did work that focused on reputation management, which sparked my interest in Music, Fashion and Consumer PR. This led me to apply for a Public Relations-focused course at university in order to explore the subject further.

This experience helped me to discover my passion for telling stories and communications. I am always interested in finding new platforms and structures to promote the brands and individuals that I work for.
