Dancers wow crowds at Birmingham New Street with impromptu performance

Passengers at New Street Station have been treated to an impromptu dance performance.

Men and women dressed in vibrant pink and silver outfits gathered on Saturday (29th October) to perform a routing under the train departure boards.

The event was staged to promote the new dance show Vamos Cuba, which is at the Birmingham Hippodrome until 5th November.

A spokesperson for the theatre said: “The show is part of a new commissioned artwork and production in coordination with the Hippodrome.”

Crowds gathered on the balcony of Grand Central to watch the performance.

Laura Kerr, who watched the performance with friends, said: “I loved it, but I kept wondering how they remembered all of it.”
